Do I need an account?
No. Write it, pay once, and the links arrive by email. If you come back later we email you a link to sign in — there is no password to forget.
What does the other person actually get?
A private link, and a QR code if you would rather hand them something. They open it on their phone and it unfolds: your message, your photographs, your voice if you recorded one.
How long does it last?
There is no expiry date. It stays until you delete it, and deleting it is something only you can do.
What if they lose the link?
You still have it. Sign in with the email you bought with and send it again — it is the same link, so nothing is lost.
What is the secret?
An optional word only the two of you would know. Until it is answered, the message, the photographs and the recording are not in the page at all — not hidden, not further down: never sent. Only the hint you chose to give.
What if the secret is forgotten?
We cannot recover it. We never keep a readable copy, which is the only way a lock means anything, and it is also the honest cost of one: the content stays closed, and the way out is to delete it and send another.
What is Lifetime access?
One payment instead of one per gift, with a monthly allowance rather than a quota you can exhaust. The fair-use page says exactly what that number is and how it is counted.
Is any of this private?
The photographs and the recording live in storage that is not publicly readable, and are served through credentials that expire. There is no analytics script and no tracker on this site. The privacy page has the whole of it.
