Terms
Last updated 18 September 2026
The short version: you pay once, what you make is yours, you are responsible for what you put in it and who you send it to, and we will keep it working. The rest of this page is that said properly.
What you are buying
There are two purchases and neither is a subscription. Nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel.
- A single gift, at the price shown at checkout. It is yours to keep and to share, with no time limit.
- Lifetime access, at the price shown at checkout, which lets you keep creating gifts from your dashboard without paying again.
What “lifetime” means
It means the life of the product, not a promise of immortality. We intend to run this for as long as we can, and we are not going to pretend we can bind a company that does not exist yet. If we ever have to shut the service down, we will give you at least 90 days' notice by email and a way to download what you made.
Lifetime access is for one person sending gifts to the people in their life. In practice that is up to 20 new gifts in each monthly period; the fair-use page explains how that is counted, and it is part of these terms.
It is personal, and not for resale, automation, or sharing an account with other people.
Signing in
There are no passwords. You enter your email address and we send a link that works once and expires. Whoever can read that inbox can reach your gifts, so it is worth keeping it secure.
The email you type into Stripe's checkout is not a way in on its own, and it never grants Lifetime access by itself.
What you put in it
What you write, photograph and record stays yours. We claim no ownership of it and we do not use it to promote the service.
You are responsible for having the right to use it: a photograph of somebody else, a recording of somebody else's voice, music you did not write. By sending it you confirm you may.
- Do not use this to harass, threaten, impersonate, or frighten anyone.
- Do not send sexual content involving minors, content that is illegal where you or the recipient are, or anything designed to deceive somebody out of money.
- Do not use it to send bulk or commercial messages. This is not a mailing tool.
The link and the secret are yours to guard
Anyone holding a recipient link can open the gift. We cannot tell who opened it, we cannot take it back once you have sent it, and we cannot recover a secret you have forgotten. Deleting the gift is the way to close a link you wish you had not sent.
Refunds
If something is broken — the gift will not open, the recording will not play, the link does not work — tell us and we will fix it or refund you. That offer does not expire.
If you simply changed your mind, ask within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you, provided you have not already sent the gift to its recipient. Ask after that and it is at our discretion, which in practice means we will usually say yes and would rather you asked than assumed.
Either way: contact@alittlesomething.io.
Availability
We do not promise the site is never down. We will keep it running with reasonable care, and we will not make a planned change that breaks a link somebody has already sent.
We may change how the product looks and works. We will not remove something you already paid for.
Ending it
You can delete a gift whenever you like, and you can close your account from your dashboard. Closing it is scheduled 30 days ahead and can be cancelled by signing back in before the date; after it, everything is gone and Lifetime access is not refunded.
We may suspend or close an account that is being used for the things listed above. If we do, we will tell you why, and we will refund an unused Lifetime purchase unless the reason is that it was used to harm somebody.
Liability
This is a small product sold for a small amount, and what we can be held to is proportionate to that: if we are liable to you for something, our liability is limited to what you paid us. We are not liable for a message reaching the wrong person because a link was forwarded, for content you no longer wish you had sent, or for a secret nobody can remember.
Nothing here limits liability we are not permitted to limit — for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any right you have as a consumer that cannot be signed away.
Changes, law, and how to reach us
If these terms change, the date at the top changes, and we will email you before a change that affects a purchase you have already made. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.
These terms are governed by Spanish law, and nothing in that choice removes the protection of the consumer law of the country you live in.
Anything at all: contact@alittlesomething.io.
